This restaurant is a continuation of a journey that started over 20 years ago in Richmond. Helmed by celebrated chef-owner Dale Reitzer and restaurateur Aline Reitzer, our commitment remains the same: honest cooking, respectful sourcing, and a welcoming space where timeless hospitality meets a fresh, modern approach to coastal cuisine.
Our move to Libbie Mill is not a reset—it's a new chapter built on everything we've learned, fostering a space that feels like home for our loyal community of guests.
Dale Reitzer is a multiple James Beard Award nominee and was recognized by Food & Wine as a Best New Chef in 1999.

Had a really positive experience here! Came for the 3-course prix-fixe and everything we ordered was delicious (tuna ceviche, fried oysters, pasta bolognese, crab cakes, dark chocolate ganache, key lime pie). Service was very quick and friendly. Ambience is very nice!

Over the past few months I have had the fish sandwich, fish tacos and whole fish main course. I’ve also had mussels and oysters as appetizers and have had the Most Wonderful Fresh Delicious Seafood in every case. I will try other dishes that aren’t fish but it is extremely difficult to depart from what I am thinking about that I’ve just enjoyed so much. The atmosphere and the staff are exceptional with a clean and open kitchen. Highly recommended
